UBISOFT®'S RAYMAN LEGENDS NOW COMING TO XBOX 360® AND PLAYSTATION 3®


London, UK - February 7th, 2013 - Today, Ubisoft announced that its forthcoming title Rayman Legends, already announced for the Wii UTM system from Nintendo, will also be released on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. All versions will now hit shelves in early September 2013.

The Microsoft Xbox 360® and Sony PlayStation® 3 versions of Rayman Legends are being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the same team behind the Nintendo Wii UTM game. Rayman Legends has been praised for its stunning visuals and innovative gameplay by media around the world and labeled as one of the most anticipated platformers of 2013.

"We heard from many Xbox & Playstation owners and Rayman fans who told us they really wanted to play Rayman Legends on their current system", says Geoffroy Sardin, EMEA Chief Marketing & Sales Officer. "We decided to give the fans what they wanted while at the same time broadening the audience exposed to this innovative and memorable game."

Rayman Legends retains the fantasy appeal of its predecessor while adding a multitude of clever and entertaining gaming modes, new characters, new environments and a new soundtrack. The award-winning team of artists, designers and composers from Origins has also returned with an advanced UbiArt engine to include multi-dimension gameplay elements, an improved lighting system and updated game rendering that elevate Rayman's graphics to the next level.

pa to se znalo od pocetka,najlakse Nitendu je bilo da potplate ovako neke studije da izlazu kako igra izlazi samo za wiiU kako bi se prodavala konzola u sto vise primeraka.Koliko bi miliona samo izgubili da se igra prodavala samo na wiiU koji se ocigledno i nije pokazao kao must have konzola.

Drago mi je, uskoro planiram da krenem sa igranjem Origins-a!

Igra mi se Origins, ako ga ne budu dali za PS+ u skorije vreme ima da se opici na box-u.


Super za Legends, dobro da nece samo za WiiU da bude. Jos samo da to kazu i za Bayonettu 2 pa da skocim od radosti.

Najavljena je i jos jedna Wii U "ekskluziva" za PS3 i Xbox 360... Radi se o Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge.

To se znalo odavno, već par meseci.

Rayman Legends gets confusing console-exclusive pre-order bonuses

Pre-order bonuses don't surprise anyone these days. Even console-specific retailer-exclusive pre-order add-ons are somewhat commonplace. But, there's something quite odd about Rayman Legends.

Pre-ordering the game at GameStop will entitle you to get a console-specific bonus costume for use in the game. For example, for Xbox 360, you'll get to see Rayman dressed in a Splinter Cell-themed costume (above). And on PlayStation 3, you'll get Rayman dressed in an Assassin's Creed 4-themed costume. However, on Wii U, you'll get Barbara dressed in an Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation costume--a game that's a Vita exclusive.


Perhaps Ubisoft is secretly hinting at a Wii U port of the Vita game (unlikely). However, it seems like Nintendo fans are none too happy about getting exclusive DLC for a game that they can't play on their console--and they've been none too happy about Ubisoft's support for what once used to be a Wii U exclusive.
